Apartahotel Splendor

The rooms were clean, but the place felt old and poorly maintained. We were on the fourth floor and could hear people passing through reception and every trip the lift made. We're not light sleepers, either. An airline put us here after a delay caused us to miss our connection. I wouldn't choose to stay here myself, and I don't recommend it to others.

Decent stay, with hot showers, a good location, and great staff. But every sound came through the room door, which felt like cardboard. Insulated doors would probably fix that.

The staff were very friendly and eager to help, but the room was worn and dirty. The sheets were stained, and even the towels were full of holes. We were put in what seemed to be the older of two buildings, where the elevator didn't work. We spent one night here at Lufthansa's expense after missing a flight connection. Even though it was free, it didn't feel like good value.

Booking and other platforms offered decent rates, while the front desk price was very expensive.
