Wyndham Bogotá

The large room on the fourth floor had a great view of downtown Bogotá, the mountains, and the U.S. embassy. I don’t know if we got an upgrade because nobody mentioned one. It was clean and spacious, with a large bathroom that separated the toilet and shower from the sink and vanity, and a full-length mirror. The bed was comfortable, the mini fridge was useful, and we slept well. The TV seemed dated. Staff were polite and professional at check-in, got us into our room quickly, and accepted our request for a 1 pm late checkout without hesitation. Breakfast was included, but we didn’t get up in time for it. Someone in the lobby also kindly offered us an airport ride when they saw our bags, though we weren’t going there. We had a very enjoyable one-night stay from April 3-4 using Wyndham rewards points. The service was great, though the hotel didn’t feel luxurious enough to me to be five-star.

The airport shuttle is included and leaves from arrivals door 1, but it comes about once an hour, so there may be a wait. I didn’t mind waiting since getting an Uber from BOG can be difficult in the congestion and traffic. I booked for 7,500 Wyndham Points per night, which was good value, and got an Executive floor room with free breakfast and evening snacks. Lounge service was excellent, and they went out of their way to find vegetarian options. Everything in the room worked as it should, and the views were nice. I’d happily return.

The room was clean and comfortable, with good-quality linens and towels. Internet was fast and stable, and the views were lovely. The staff were amazing, friendly, and helpful, and breakfast had lots of options. It’s in a central spot near restaurants, shopping, attractions, and the US embassy. I highly recommend the Wyndham Bogotá.

The suite had lots of windows and beautiful city views, and the rooms were impressively large. Beds were very good, and the bathroom felt luxurious, with a lovely shower that had strong water pressure and plenty of hot water, unlike many showers in Colombia. But the badly fitted glass shower door squeaked loudly when closing, didn’t shut all the way, and made us worry it might crack. It took away from the luxury feel, even if it wasn’t a huge issue. The room also got quite cold, likely because of the big windows, and we couldn’t set the AC above 19 C. Breakfast had plenty of choice and was very good, though the dishes weren’t well made and the juice tasted watered down. Still, we had a good overall impression. It’s a clean, convenient place if you want to be near the airport, and the hotel offers free rides to and from it. I’d recommend it.
