Mrs. Socorro was so kind and helpful, and the place itself was clean and beautiful. It’s one of the better places to stay in Cabo de la Vela given its location. There’s running water all day, while electricity and air conditioning are available from 6 p.m. to 6 a.m.

The people here are lovely, honest, and friendly, and I really loved the place. It isn’t fancy, but Mercedes makes you feel at home. The rooms are comfortable and have air conditioning. If you visit, please be mindful of the family’s water supply: the tank is only filled every five days.

We spent three nights at Mar y Azul in Cabo de la Vela and had a fantastic time. The owners were lovely and attentive, happy to talk about the village and nearby area and share local tips for walks and places to eat. They also helped arrange our departure, which made things easy. The place was peaceful, clean, and well looked after. Our room had a fan, air conditioning, and a private bathroom, all the comforts you need in Cabo de la Vela. Internet was available for a few hours in the evening, which felt like a real luxury there. We ate there one night and had delicious lobster in garlic sauce. Highly recommend it. Jules and Alisson

I paid 1,500,000 pesos back in March for a trip in June. When June came around, the trips hadn’t been reactivated, so they were canceled. We’ve called, sent messages, and filed complaints since then, but still haven’t received the trip or our money back. People we’ve contacted say this man is known for scamming people. On Instagram, @explora_wayu__, comments are turned off, and it seems he only follows through on commitments to influencers.
