I checked out after only three hours. Most of that time went into fighting with the internet and trying to get help, and I left without a refund. The owner offered 50 percent back, but I couldn’t spend any more time dealing with it. I’d stay away. The connection was awful from the moment I arrived. I had work to do, including an important business call about an hour later, but even Gmail took minutes to load. I told the person I think was the owner, and he said he’d restart the router. After I ran a few errands, he was nowhere around and didn’t reply to my text. I had to call out in the middle of the hotel before he came down. Then he argued as if the problem was my fault. When he finally tested it in my room, he could see it wasn’t working properly, so he moved me to another room and cost me more time. It seemed better at first, though pages still loaded oddly. After I went out to eat because I was starving, the internet was crawling again. The download and upload tests were both under 1bp. There were other problems too. I tried plugging in my Fire Stick to watch American football, as I do at places I stay in Cali, but the screen was red and the HDMI inputs didn’t work. Room 2 and room 5 had constant motorcycle noise, and I’m sure other rooms did too. It’s not quiet, since the street is a cut-through from a major road in Cali. What a shame and a joke.

It feels like staying over at friends’ place. A great little boutique hotel, less than a year old.

The owner speaks English and was really helpful with tips about Cali. I’ve never stayed at a better hotel. I loved the food too, and wow, it’s so cheap.

The owner was always around and ready to help, and everything at this pleasant, nicely put-together hotel was clean. The rooms are attractive and well equipped, and the Wi-Fi worked perfectly. They also offer laundry service, while breakfast was perfectly fine with several choices. A shopping center with ATMs is nearby, and the city center isn’t far. Highly recommended! 👍👍 Thanks so much.
