It was generally a good hotel, with big rooms, a nice view, friendly staff, and a good breakfast. What bothered me was the lack of basic things like complimentary drinking water or coffee. After a long drive, I asked for a welcome drink and was told I could buy water at the bar. I also expected a kettle and drinking glasses in the room. Many hotels have those, sometimes with tea or coffee, but Dann didn't. Again, they said I could buy them at the bar, even though I was paying well.

The price was great, and parking and breakfast were included. It was a beautiful hotel with a big room, a very good breakfast, and security throughout. No complaints at all. I'd definitely stay here again, and plan to.

I stayed at Dann Cali in a large room overlooking the rio de cali and the street. To clarify, the Dann Carlton is the main hotel, and the Dann is part of the same hotel in a second building. The staff were excellent and attentive. There's lots more on site, including a spa, jacuzzi, salon, gym, centro de convenciones, and easy transportation. It is also close to many attractions. Expect traffic almost all day in this part of Cali. The street view is nice, but the traffic might be a drawback if you have an early flight. Thanks to Berno, el Cubano, and Carlos. Hasta la próxima!

Good value for the money, with breakfast included and worth having. The hotel is next to one of Cali's busy highways. The rooms and bed were comfortable, though the room wasn't spacious.

It's close to the Cali cats by the river.
