Kromatic Hostel

It's a plus that the tram station is right beside the hostel. The shared room is on the small side, but having the bathroom inside means I only had to share with three other people, which is good for a hostel.

We just left the hotel. My wife got a skin rash from the number of cockroaches, and only today did we discover the bed was infested with bedbugs. I have photos and videos if you want to verify it. Service was terrible. They blame the bugs on other travelers, even though I've seen several complaints about the same issue and nothing has changed. The place often smells of marijuana and feels more like a motel, with people having sex audible at all hours. Service is awful if you're helped by the foreign woman. Just terrible.

I had a terrible stay. There were bed bugs in the bed and cockroaches in the room, and I had a severe allergic reaction that made it hard to breathe. I had to go to the emergency room. Reception service was appalling, especially from a Venezuelan receptionist. She was indifferent and unsympathetic, wouldn't offer a solution, and wouldn't take responsibility for something that affected my health. The hygiene was terrible, there was no pest control, and customer service was nonexistent. I absolutely don't recommend this place.

The Colombian woman who greeted us was lovely, but the rest of the stay was awful. It smelled strongly of marijuana, the walls were damp, and the place was nothing like the photos. There were bedbugs and cockroaches, and the person with me had an allergic reaction to the bugs. This felt like a motel, not a hotel, and the Venezuelan woman working there was extremely rude.
