The area was good, the bed was comfortable, and breakfast was fantastic. I had a good trip, though I wish my luggage hadn't been broken into. I'd left it with the front desk, and a few days later my friend picked it up empty, with nothing left in the suitcase. My tracker still shows one item at the hotel, so I plan to come back for it one day. There was no hot water either, and construction on the top floor meant I had no water. I also had a towel on the floor to catch water coming in through the sliding door.

I should've checked the reviews first. I picked what was supposedly the best room, but the bathroom was dirty and the shower door was missing. The outdoor jacuzzi was dirty, smelly, and falling apart, and the refrigerator was dirty and smelled bad too. There was a towel on the floor by the patio door, and the next morning I found lots of water had seeped in through it, making a big mess. Staff weren't helpful, and the options they offered weren't reasonable.

The room was comfortable and had what we needed for a good night's sleep. Breakfast was fresh and really good. The TV didn't work properly, though, and I couldn't switch it to English. I also expected a larger balcony based on the pictures. Still, it was quite good.

I booked through Expedia nine weeks ahead, then had to cancel at least five weeks before the trip because warnings from the United St8ates State Department were escalating. I had bought trip insurance through Expedia, but the hotel refused a refund and AIG wouldn't cover the loss. When I called the hotel to arrange airport transportation, they hung up on me. I'll be notifying the United States Attorney General and the state department to investigate AIG and Expedia. Once you book, say goodbye to your money. Avoid this hotel and Expedia.
