I’d happily stay at Hostal El Aguacate again. The beds gave me a nice sense of privacy, and the staff were warm and helpful. It’s in a great spot for anyone visiting Cali, Colombia, and I’d recommend it.

I didn’t stay overnight, but the staff were very helpful with information about the area. The place looked clean and well equipped, with what a backpacker needs plus hammocks and free salsa lessons. It’s also among the better-priced hostels nearby.

We were there just a week after the hostel opened, and the friendly staff made the stay. San Antonio is a convenient neighborhood, with lots of nice restaurants and a 15-20 minute walk to the historic center or La Topa, an amazing salsa club. Breakfast was surprisingly good and very affordable. There’s even a popcorn machine for movie nights. I recommend it.

I come back to this hostel every time I’m in Cali. It’s in an artsy, safe part of town, across from a very old church and a park that gets packed most nights with vendors and people hanging out. The staff are nice, and Fabian is always ready to help. The beds and bathrooms are clean, and the showers have hot water.

The atmosphere here is great, and the beds are new and roomy. Showers have hot water and good pressure, too. The staff are genuinely nice and helpful. Definitely recommend it.
