The rooms could be much quieter. Some downstairs rooms by the kitchen have an open gap above the door, so noise from the kitchen and elsewhere carries in. If they fixed that, this would be amazing. The beds were okay, though, and there are three pleasant lounge areas, a nice kitchen, good showers, and even a jacuzzi. It feels secure, and for the price it’s a very good place.

The room was quite small, and with the window shut it got muggy and humid fast. There was no screen, so we kept it closed at night and aired the room during the day. At least it had nice natural light. Breakfast costs 6000 COP and was nothing special, just eggs, bread or arepas, which were only available some days, and coffee. No fruit or juice. It wasn’t bad, but we’ve had much better. The bed was large and had clean sheets, and the mattress was a little softer than others we’ve slept on. The small bathroom was quite clean, with hot water and good pressure in the shower. Staff were friendly and helpful enough. The common areas are cute, including a jacuzzi type tub outside, and the location and value are very good. We booked a double room with a private bathroom and got one on the second floor. Nice hostel for the price, would recommend.

The private room was well worth the price, and the beds were really comfortable. Staff were very friendly, and the Hostal had an inexpensive breakfast and reasonably priced laundry service. There were plenty of spots to relax too, including a mini pool and a bar. Great place, really enjoyed my stay!

It was a nice place, but I barely slept. Our ground floor room faced the kitchen, with only an opening above the door for ventilation and no way to shut it. We stayed out until midnight to avoid the noise, but people cooked until 1am and smoke came into the room. Someone was cooking again at 3am, then another person was in the kitchen at 5am, and staff started at 7am. The rooms had internal windows at best, and some guests didn’t seem to consider that others might want to sleep.
