Hotel Casa Bresse

We felt at home as soon as we arrived, thanks to the kind hosts and staff, who were also great with all our questions. When our flight was cancelled at the last minute, Sol stayed to help us understand what was happening. They can also arrange airport transport for the same price as, or less than, a taxi. The room was huge, the bed comfortable, and the bathroom clean. The shower had hot water, and the powerful fan handled the heat well. It felt very safe and secure, and there are thoughtful extras like games in the shared area. Also, they have a kitten! Breakfast tasted good, though the serving was a little small: toast, an egg, fruit, and hot chocolate or coffee. The value and atmosphere were both so good. We loved the place and Cali and hope to stay again.

Casa Bresse was a great base, with cafes, restaurants, and salsa schools all an easy walk away. I had work to do, and the WiFi was fast and steady. The patio was a nice quiet place to set up my laptop. The staff were really friendly, too. I'd definitely recommend staying here.

The breakfast was okay, but very basic. There's no air conditioning, and the rooms don't have proper curtains to block the light. It's noisy too, with a busy road outside from 6:30 a.m. until midnight.

The rooms are spacious and the beds comfortable. The key arrangement is odd, though: you have to ask reception whenever you want to get in. Bringing anyone to your room also costs extra.
