Hotel Colina de San Antonio

Paula and Marco were wonderful. On the day we were leaving for Medellin, my sister realized she'd left her credit card at the hotel. Marco messaged me, and the two of them arranged to courier it to our hotel in Medellin. The staff are all friendly and incredibly helpful, and the location is great. Our room was great too, and when we needed extra things, they were happy to help. I highly recommend staying here.

That old Spanish style building has a lot of character, and the new management are really friendly. I've returned several times because the place is clean, spacious, and nice. The water pressure can be painfully low sometimes, though. Most rooms have kitchenettes, but we hardly used ours with so many great restaurants nearby. Bife, down the hill, has an amazing beef filet, and there are plenty of small, intimate places for dinner. For a romantic view over Cali at night, walk up to the old church at the top of the hill.

For what you pay, this hotel is amazing. It's in the safest, prettiest area, with a park nearby, and the hotel itself feels secure. There's someone at the entrance to open the door and keep track of who's coming in. The room was clean and had a nice view. The staff are polite, helpful, and all speak English. Highly recommend!

The rooms were roomy, but dated, and the bed wasn't comfortable. Breakfast was bad, though the staff were nice. The location works well if you're looking to stay in San Antonio. Cali felt like a ghost town during the three days we were there, and we couldn't figure out why. The whole place had a strange vibe.
