Apartamentos Los Delfines

You’re close to the beach, with lots of shops and stores nearby. Great location.

Los Delfines isn’t a hotel, it’s an apartment building with options for different tastes and budgets. The location is excellent, only about a two-minute walk from the beach, or less. There’s a pool, two elevators, and a tour operator inside with very good prices. You can also find shops, a laundry, clothing stores and more in the building.

We rented a room through Airbnb and had air conditioning in it, but I wouldn’t return to this poorly maintained, very old building. Outside, the air conditioners are tangled up in branches and bird-left leaves, and look worn out. There are no umbrellas or parasols around the pool. There were lots of cockroaches in the garbage chute, and we saw several in our room too.

The cockroaches made this the worst night of our stay in Colombia. There were so many, crawling all over the apartment, and one was already dead at reception. We bought insecticide and sprayed everywhere, but it wasn’t enough. We had to sleep with everything shut and the toxic spray around us just to feel a little safer. One person in our group had an anxiety attack. It felt like a horror movie, and I hope they do something about it. We rented apartment 402 from a landlord named Ivan. We had no issue with him or the building services, which after that terrifying experience we didn’t even want to try. The apartment smelled awful and looked nothing like the photos.
