Breakfast was generous, with eggs and pancakes made to order alongside fruit, cereal, juice, coffee, and more. The breakfast attendant kindly arranged for our cooked food to be ready at 7 so we could eat before heading to the pier at 7:30 for our island trip. When I booked that trip, she also patiently talked me through the beach club choices and how they differed. The hotel is in a traditional colonial house in the old town, with quaint streets all around and the pier for day trips to Islas del Rosario less than a 10-minute walk away. Since it's an old town property with open architecture, street noise carries through the hotel. It eased around 3 a.m., then the garbage truck came at about 5. It was more like background noise than anything unbearable, but light sleepers may be bothered. Free earplugs are available. There's no elevator, only stairs, so getting luggage upstairs may be difficult for some. Our room was clean and comfortable, and the strong air conditioning was a godsend in Cartagena's heat and humidity.

Johnny and Diana were so kind and helpful the whole time. We had a wonderful stay and really liked the hotel's location. Breakfast was filling and incredible, and our room was well kept and cleaned every day.

The bed was comfortable, and we had a nice balcony. The room also had hot water and cold air conditioning. Breakfast had good choices, including eggs made to order, and service was lovely throughout our stay. The location was great too.

The room was modern and super clean, with a connected TV for streaming, and the staff were really helpful. Breakfast was good. Nights were the problem: it's very noisy near the big square, so bring good earbuds. The staff moved us to another room when they were able to, and I'm grateful for that.
