The staff were really friendly, and the rooms were clean with air conditioning. Hospedaje Cataleya is in a quiet spot that's easy to reach, close enough to Getsemani for a walk but far enough from the bustle to unwind. There are also nearby food places with tasty options and delivery. It was a nice surprise after the hotel I'd booked canceled just a few days before I arrived.

Jesús made me feel at home, and the hostel was quiet and very clean. I had a great stay in the shared dorm. It had everything I needed to be comfortable in Cartagena, and I'd definitely recommend it to anyone after a quiet, safe place.

The location worked well, near San Felipe Castle and only a few blocks from Getsemaní. We got very good service too, the man who checked us in was friendly. Our private double room had no air conditioning, but that was fine for the price. The bathroom curtain in place of a door was the awkward part, especially when using the toilet.

Really pretty place. The internet seemed to connect, but it never actually worked.

It's in a great location, and the place is welcoming, clean, family-friendly, and beautiful. One suggestion: curtains on the small room windows would help, since some of us need a completely dark room to sleep.
