The terrace has lovely city views, and the hotel is a beautiful little boutique place in a central location. Katherine, Maria, and Abel were so helpful, and I’m especially grateful for the warm care from Katherine and Maria. There are quite a few stairs, and the nearby bar plays loud music late into the night, which is outside the hotel’s control. Bring good earplugs, but for me the positives outweighed that. I had a wonderful stay and would choose this place again when I’m back in Cartagena.
We spent a few great days at Casa Lazuli 303 Cartagena. The bedroom was huge and comfortable, and we had plenty of room in the shared areas to cook, eat, and hang out with friends. Each evening we loved heading up to the rooftop for those unreal sunset views over the city. It’s right across from Alquímico, with everything in the Walled City within walking distance. A beautiful space with a great atmosphere. Can’t wait to return.
I booked Casa Lazuli because I was attending a wedding across the street, and the location was convenient. I hadn’t realized how nice the place would be. The room was huge and well equipped, with a hammock inside and an amazing view. Breakfast was more than enough. The staff were wonderful all around. Just be aware that the area is very lively, so night noise can be a real issue, though my wife and I are used to it and didn’t mind. The rooftop rooms are on the fourth floor, and there’s no elevator.
The staff were incredible and gave us amazing service.
A great hotel, and a strong choice if you’re looking to stay in Cartagena.
