Casa San Luis Hotel

The hosts were lovely and attentive whenever we needed something. The rooms are modern, and breakfast is included with every reservation. It may be delicious. The hotel is one block from the clock tower, though that area feels a little unsafe at night.

The man who greeted us was rude and seemed to know nothing. We had already paid for our reservation by credit card, but were asked to pay again when we arrived. The rooms looked half-finished, the bathrooms and other facilities were disappointing, and there was a strange smell. The beds looked dirty, and it felt like a "three-hour hotel." Nothing like the photos. It's a lie!!!

The breakfast was good and generous, and they let us leave drinks in a shared fridge to keep them cold. The receptionists were very attentive. Still, the place looked like it was under construction: holes in the walls, no shower head, unfinished windows, and a room door that didn't reach the floor. They should improve things.

No parking, but there are several restaurants nearby. For a night or two, the location works well, close to the convention center and the city walls. Breakfast, Wi-Fi, and air conditioning are available. Check the showers, though, since water sometimes leaks into the room.
