The way guests were treated was the biggest problem. Some servers were rude, and when Colombian guests tried to help the foreigners understand the charges, they were told it was none of their business. We bought a day pass, but guests were asked to pay for meals that were supposed to be included, including vegetarian options. Foreign guests were also charged different, seemingly random prices for the same drinks, with no menu showing the correct prices. When people paid cash, their change never came back, and complaints about it were ignored. We booked this place for guests to visit the day after our wedding. I’d avoid it if you want to save yourself a huge headache.

Service moved painfully slowly, and the staff were rude. They charged us twice for drinks and refused to return change when we paid cash. If you go anyway, check every receipt and your bank account after each purchase. The staff seemed to be trying to rob our group. Avoid this place at all costs.

The fried mojarra was the only food I liked. The seafood casserole was the worst dish, more like paprika cream, and the rest of the food was terrible too. The photos on the Instagram page look nothing like it. The place itself is nice, but service was awful and slow.

With our flights and whole trip already planned, they canceled a reservation we’d made almost five months ahead, less than a month before we were due to travel. They said they’d be full on those dates and suggested changing our dates, as if the people who booked early didn’t count. They offered no solution, including a room at one of their other hotels, and the money we’d deposited is taking too long to come back. It felt disrespectful. What’s the point of booking and paying if they can cancel so close to the trip? I don’t recommend them at all.
