The terrace, pool and breakfast area have spectacular views, and the service was good, with nice people. Breakfast itself was average. The pool is small and short on chairs, though it was empty at times and I got to enjoy it. My room had no view at all, I couldn’t even see out the window, but I booked through a discount site and paid about 85USD a night, so I felt I got a very good deal. The bed was comfortable, the room quiet and the AC worked well. It’s a solid four-star hotel for good value, though not luxurious. The location is handy, right by the castle and a short walk from Getsemani and the old town. The first five minutes of the walk can feel a little sketchy. The hotel advised us not to walk at night, but we did anyway as obvious gringos and it was fine. There was some serious poverty around, as expected.

I’ve stayed here twice now. The location is great, with Mall Plaza within walking distance. Breakfast is included and amazing, especially with the view of Castillo de San Felipe. The front office and all the staff are amazing.

Lovely views and excellent service at this quiet boutique hotel. There’s some street noise, but that’s to be expected in a tourist area. Highly recommended.

The buffet was awful. There was barely any variety, very little space, like a box of matches, and just a few trays that were always empty. The orange juice was the most watery I’ve ever tried. I paid for a suite, but the cost and quality just don’t line up. Not recommended, and I won’t be back.

The pool and terrace look lovely, with the castle in the background. What made me want to return, though, was Night Manager Eduardo. He was so kind and helped me with anything I needed or asked for, even teaching me some Spanish words. Thank you for your service, Eduardo, and best wishes. I’d recommend this hotel to anyone.
