I’m on vacation and miserable because of this hotel. There’s no hot water, and they charged some random insurance fee I don’t even understand. They won’t refund the remaining days, even though there’s no hot water. It feels like money matters more than guest comfort. My first time in Colombia, and it’s the worst country I’ve been to. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THEM.

The place looks nice, but the experience was bad, maybe just bad luck. The maintenance and restaurant staff need intensive guest service training. I found a toilet plunger next to the toilet, the AC wasn’t working properly, and the bathroom light was hanging off the ceiling. A restaurant employee picked up the coffee carafe and plates while I was still eating breakfast, then frowned at me.

They give each room just one access card, even when it has two queen beds. My wife goes out to explore while I return from work, and I never know if I’ll be able to get into our fully paid room. We can’t explore or come back separately. I’ve never seen this anywhere in the world. Really?

You get what you pay for. Stay away from this hotel. There are better places in Cartagena, closer to great locations and with better service. WORST SERVICE EVER!
