The staff were lovely, especially the people handling breakfast. Breakfast was included in my rate and they made it to order. The location is also a big plus, overlooking a popular park and close to plenty of good food and drinks. The rooftop is a nice spot for having friends over, and the air conditioning in the room was the best part of it. The pool was fine, though it gets no natural light and feels like it's in a basement. For a hotel charging 4-star prices, the neglected facilities were a real letdown. Glass in the door was cracked, walls were cracked and bubbling, shower doors had missing knobs, tiles were broken, and furniture was crooked. At a 2-star price I'd have been okay with that, but this felt overpriced, and there are better deals nearby. The location is great, but the whole city is a short walk across anyway. Good location, poor value.

Right in central old Cartagena, and our room was the only one with two large beds. It seemed like a former shop converted into one big room, facing street level. Restaurants beside us had chairs set up just outside, so there was plenty going on. The party in the plaza continued until 2 a.m., but we were so tired we didn't mind. Our room is through the far-left door in the first photo, lol.

The staff were friendly, and our double room was just right. It even had a fridge, which I haven't found often on my travels. There's a lovely small reception area with comfortable chairs looking out over the park. It's a really nice hotel in a prime spot. It can get noisy at night, but there are lots of performers right downstairs. I'd recommend it.

Our room was clean and comfortable, though the shower door wouldn't shut and it could use an update. The balcony looked out over the park, which was great. There was some noise at night, but that's pretty normal for Centro. It's a cute hotel at a modest price, right on Plaza Fernandez de Madrid and a handy base for exploring Cartagena. We had a nice stay.

The location was excellent, with everything within walking distance, and the hotel itself was nice. The staff were friendly, though they didn't speak English. I slept very comfortably, and they kindly lent me a hair dryer. Our room, No. 205, had a cramped bathroom with no storage and a sloped ceiling. Anyone over 1.75m is likely to bump their head. Outside noise from the restaurants' music and entertainment carried in, and I could also hear the bell inside the hotel and people talking outside the room. Breakfast had no choice and the portions were small. The terrace was closed. It wasn't a cheap stay, though maybe that was because we were there over New Year's Eve.
