Casa Franco Hotel

I checked in and checked out right away, which has never happened to me before. The pictures didn't match what was advertised: the furniture was worn, the bathroom smelled strongly, construction was ongoing, and there was mold, which is unhealthy. I tried to sort it out with the owner and asked for a refund, but still haven't had an adequate response. Reception said they couldn't move me to another room or refund me. It was difficult to deal with because my Spanish isn't completely fluent. I'm still waiting for a solution to this booking, and I'd strongly discourage anyone from booking or staying here.

We booked through booking.com because we wanted to be near the beach, and the pictures looked lovely. They must have been AI generated. My friend and I reserved a triple room but were only offered one bed. The room looked nothing like the advertised pictures either. There were no hangers or safe, just a bed and desk. The tiny bathroom smelled bad and had no hot water. Everything was dirty, from the walls and door to the sheets and towels. We asked three times for clean pillowcases and towels and got dirty ones each time. Dust was everywhere. Construction was going on in the courtyard outside our room, which was unlit at night, with holes and missing tiles that were easy to trip over. At 8am, cleaners banged on the walls and made a lot of noise without considering that people were sleeping. We didn't even try breakfast. Customer service was appalling. We were the only customers at reception when we came back for a refund, but waited over an hour. During our one-night stay, since we couldn't find somewhere else until the 1st, we saw many other travellers asking for early checkouts and refunds. Please do NOT book this hotel, it's a complete scam.

A 0 out of 10 stay. The hotel is under construction, but they made no effort to keep things clean or comfortable. We went days without clean towels and had to ask three times before getting any. The towels we received had BROWN STAINS. Disgusting. When we waited for help or a solution, they simply ignored us. Horrible stay.

The management was incredibly understanding when my toddler got sick and we couldn't fly on our scheduled day. They extended our stay without hesitation and made sure we had a comfortable room and the support we needed at a difficult time. That kindness and flexibility went above and beyond. From the moment we arrived at Casa Franco Hotel, the staff were warm and welcoming. Everyone went out of their way to make us feel at home and gave us exceptional service. The food was delightful, with fresh, flavorful meals and a range of dishes for different tastes. The complimentary breakfast was a daily highlight and a great start to the morning. Casa Franco Hotel exceeded our expectations. The staff, food, and management made the stay unforgettable, and I highly recommend it for a caring, memorable hospitality experience.
