The food is very ordinary: they call it a buffet, but you can't go back for seconds, and lunch doesn't include a starter, as it's called in Colombia. The portions are small, even if you eat a lot. The rooms also need serious maintenance for the price and area. Water doesn't reach the third floor, the walls and windows are in poor shape, and the bathrooms have no doors, so water splashes everywhere. There's no mat outside to help prevent slips. The Egyptian beds aren't cleaned or made in the mornings, and the beach is left as it was the day before instead of being cleaned.

The rest of the staff were very friendly, the food was good, and prices were reasonable. But the rooms need maintenance, especially the bathrooms and kitchenette. There aren't enough sun loungers, and the beach area is small. The bartender seemed unenthusiastic.

The semi-private beach was peaceful, with fewer offers and street vendors, and the hotel sits right on the beachfront. The location made it easy to relax, and the private beds and chairs were free. The bar's drinks and cocktails were delicious and well priced. The food, though, cost too much for the flavor and amount. Our mixed snack for two was mostly sausage and potato, with just pieces of meat and chicken. Nearby restaurants are very good and offer better food quality at similar prices. The hotel has all the amenities, and the location is excellent.

The ocean view is spectacular, with the hotel right across the street, and you can eat while looking out at the sea. It's a nice place to relax and rest, though customer service was average. The room doors could use maintenance.
