Hotel Casino Internacional

The staff made things easy from the moment we walked in. Reception, room attendants, restaurant staff, and pool attendants were all very friendly and accommodating. Check-in at other hotels in Colombia can feel almost Byzantine, but there was none of that at Casino International. Our room looked out over the city and felt luxurious, with a huge walk-in shower. Breakfast had plenty of variety and was excellent, and the staff were helpful about everything. The pool was a welcome relief in Cucuta’s heat, kept spotless with clear water, and staff were there with towels. The menu of the day was good quality and good value. I didn’t drink at the bar, though it was always busy, with a huge TV showing national and international football. It’s a four-star hotel, but it has a five-star feel.

The area is what I liked most: there’s a mall right across from the hotel, lots of restaurant options nearby, and it’s close to the city center and San Andresito. The pool is nice too, and there are sauna and spa services. The hotel restaurant is okay, with plenty of choices at the breakfast buffet and a menu as well. I enjoyed the daily lunch, though the pizza I had on my last stay wasn’t to my taste. Prices are high, but I felt I got value for them. Try the coffee at the bar, it’s wonderful. It’s a great hotel in Cúcuta a. The rooms and social areas are really cool, and the service is very nice. You’ll find four-star service here.

The food was the highlight of my stay. The restaurant was nice and the food was amazing. The hotel is conveniently placed near downtown Cucuta, and the staff were pleasant and accommodating, so I’d stay here again on my next trip. I was there for seven days and had a pleasant time overall, though I didn’t get the room I’d reserved. I was exhausted after traveling all day and just accepted the room they gave me. It was clean and well kept, as was the rest of the hotel. The gym was a little run down and could use an update.
