Hotel Hisca

The place was tidy and clean, the service was good, and the breakfast they served us was delicious. The one thing that bothered me was the washing machine noise one night. It wasn't unbearable, just annoying, but I'm someone who wakes at the slightest sound, so I couldn't sleep well.

It's next to the old municipal terminal. The rooms are spacious, the staff are really friendly, and having covered parking is great. The neighborhood isn't the nicest, but I didn't notice anything unusual while I was there.

The scrambled eggs were the only good part, a five for those. My room was tiny, the bathroom was in poor condition, and the towel was dirty. The surrounding area wasn't a good fit either. The night manager was unfriendly when I asked for service, and it was very expensive.

We booked online and arrived late at night because we planned to leave early for the Boyacá village. The man checking us in gave terrible service, refused to honor our reservation, and hadn't let us know. He wasn't clear about prices either; there was no hot water and breakfast wasn't included. We had to leave at that hour and look for another hotel, and the area was quite unpleasant. If you're heading to the Boyacá village, I'd suggest leaving early and going straight there, or paying more to stay there.
