Hotel Piedemonte

There were 11 of us in my family last week. The food itself was acceptable, but after lunch I felt they were stingy with the portions for the prices. At 60,000 pesos for a dish, I’d expect at least a salad or some soup. My sister-in-law was told the cold cuts came with six different meats, but she said the beef was missing.

There’s plenty to do for kids and adults, with natural pools, private rooms, a restaurant, and several places to get a bite. It’s a great weekend visit, right next to Hacienda El Paraíso, a Magdely-vi site in the Cauca Valley that tells the love story of Efraín and María.

We waited and nobody came to serve us. When the food finally arrived, it was cold, greasy, and a very small portion, with none of the Valle del Cauca flavor. The worst lunch ever cost me 120,000, when it should’ve been 30,000 at most. Terrible service.

A visit here is highly recommended after an afternoon stroll around the area.
