The hummus was so unusual and delicious, and I loved that so much of the food is grown right on the property. We had a relaxing, unplugged weekend getaway from Medellín, with breathtaking views, a peaceful and intimate atmosphere, and wonderful food. The family-run hotel feels thoughtfully cared for, and the service was warm, attentive, and genuinely kind. They arranged everything we needed, from rides into town to a fantastic jet ski trip on the lake. It all felt easy and considered. We didn’t want to leave and will absolutely be back. Highly recommend!! :)

Felipe and his team were always smiling and happy to help with anything we needed. The restaurant serves gourmet food straight from farm to table, and the elegant rooms give you beautiful views of nature all day. My husband and I came to explore El Penol rock and spent a few days at this wonderful local boutique hotel. It offers the comforts of a luxury place, with even more personal hospitality. The views are to die for, and it’s just far enough from the busy tourist downtown and rock. If you’re visiting Guatape, come stay here.

I’m picky and travel a lot, and this is one of the best hotels I’ve stayed in. The view is beautiful, and the facilities are modern and clean, as others have said. What really stood out to me was the impeccable service: friendly, attentive, responsive, and helpful. It showed me the best of Colombian hospitality and made me love the country.

This was our first visit to Colombia and our first hotel there, and it was an amazing experience. The hotel is beautifully designed and decorated, with lovely accommodations and amazing views. The whole team, especially Felipe, treated us like family and helped arrange our transportation. The food was extremely good, and the place was peaceful and perfect for our vacation. We can’t wait to come back.
