The beds were much too hard, and the towels were terrible quality. But those were minor compared with what happened with the food and the lack of help afterward. A friend and I ordered seafood rice and spaghetti frutti di mare, and we both got food poisoning. We were terribly sick through the night. When we asked for help, nobody was there. They offered to call an ambulance, but we chose to wait. The next day, still sick and weak, we didn't even get an apology. Instead, they said other people had eaten seafood without getting sick, as if we were making it up. We wanted to leave, but were too unwell to deal with finding somewhere else and arranging transportation. I messaged the manager, Luis Felipe, to explain what happened. He read it and never replied. There was no apology or compensation, and they still charged us for the food that made us sick. The whole response was unbelievably shameless. They also failed at basic customer service and attention. In other places, something like this could get a business shut down. The place itself is very beautiful, which makes it a shame that the experience fell so far short of what the facilities suggest. They don't tell you that paying by credit card costs an extra 6%. It's far from everything, so you have no real option but to eat there. Everything they had was frozen, and the quality wasn't top-notch. My recommendation is not to go.
