Everything impressed me, and I loved the views. It’s the best hotel in the area. You can get into town by boat pretty easily, but be sure to bring an SUV if you’re driving here.

The hotel itself is beautiful, and with better food it could be a magical place. The meals were truly awful, and the service was poor too. I’d choose the luxe Charlie instead: it offers better value for the money and is more economical.

It’s a gorgeous spot with delicious food, and the quiet mountain setting is nice for relaxing. There isn’t much atmosphere beyond that, though, and getting there is really difficult because there’s no proper road.

Once we got there, the staff were kind and helpful, and the food was excellent. A couple of our restaurant orders got mixed up, and the online chat hadn’t been very useful, though we eventually got enough information to find the hotel. Even with those hiccups, we had a very good experience overall.
