The spa was fantastic, and the staff even offered to warm it up before we got there. We also had a great time kayaking, and it was nice that the kayak was free. The views are stunning, and we had a good stay overall. I'd come back. A few things could be better for a place that seems to be aiming for luxury. Parts of the room felt worn: the curtains were falling apart, and the kitchen bulb hung so low I kept hitting my head. Staff could have been more welcoming, and both mornings the bread at breakfast was hard. The beds were listed as king size, but I don't think they were. They were short, with two singles pushed together. Room service meals tasted good, though they were quite expensive, as was most of the hotel, but I can understand why. Parking was tricky with limited space and a rough road. There's a very sharp turn on the way out that meant reversing before continuing, which made maneuvering awkward.

It's about 10 minutes from La Piedra del Peñol and surrounded by nature. You can spot different birds and animals, and get straight to the lake for kayaking or wakeboarding. Magical place, 10/10, highly recommended!

The lake and mountain views each morning were unmatched, and the cabins blend modern style with nature in a way I hadn't experienced before. From the food to the service, everything made this little getaway memorable. The restaurant was absolutely delicious, and Mr Arnold and senior Juan made sure things were just right and my needs were taken care of. It'll stay in my heart for a long time, and I can't wait to return.

Juan and the rest of the staff made us feel so welcome, and the service was incredible. Ibuku is a magical place, with beautifully decorated cabins and amazing views from every one. The food was delicious too. We couldn't have asked for a better experience.
