Bora Bora Cartagena

I had a very disappointing experience with credit card charges at this hotel. During my stay, staff said they couldn't see my payment, and I was charged twice. They assured me the charges would be reversed, but that never happened. A month later, after I got back to Montreal, I found the same charges had been processed again without my authorization. I'm now disputing them with my bank. Please be very careful when paying by card here. 😡

The view and privacy from the oceanfront cabana were worth the extra 100,000 pesos we paid to upgrade from our regular ticket. It had a roof and white curtains, and the included lunch was delicious. The water was stunningly clear, and the day at Bora Bora felt as premium as VIP even with a regular ticket. Elizabeth made the experience even better. She gave us a full tour, patiently and professionally answered all our questions, and made us feel welcome with her lovely smile. Thank you to Pao Pao company for having such a great crew.

Ivan, the hotel concierge, helped coordinate our transport to the island and everything else we needed, and his communication was great. All the staff were incredibly attentive and went above and beyond. The whole place has a stunning vibe. We stayed at Bora bora for 3 nights, and it felt like real luxury. They made my husband's 29th birthday unforgettable. We can't say enough good things about them. If we could give 100 stars, we would!

The food and drinks were incredible, and the whole visit was organized so well. Everyone on staff was warm and made us feel at home. Mickey was one of the best parts of the experience. An absolute must-do if you're in Cartagena. Go visit!
