Hierba Buena Eco Hostel

We had a great stay, my girlfriend and I. The room was clean and comfortable, and there were nice communal spaces too. What stood out most was how warm and welcoming the hosts were. The location was fantastic, and the amenities were excellent. Highly recommend!

A 30-minute walk gets you to the Tayrona park entrance. Reaching the place from the bus with big backpacks is a tough walk, but it was worth it. The setting is gorgeous, secluded, and full of plants, with plenty of hammocks and good wifi. The staff were helpful, cooked delicious food, and were very happy to cater to vegetarians.

We left highly disappointed. The place itself is beautiful and surrounded by nature, but getting there is difficult, and they don't tell you how far along a rough road you have to go. They charge for the ride to the property, which I think should be included given the high price. Our most expensive room had no privacy at all. It only had curtains, and they weren't big enough for the windowless doors. Breakfast was just fruit and juice. The other food was good, but highly overpriced. There are better places close to the main road, with a direct view of the tayrona park, easier access, restaurants, bars, nice rooms, and a pool, at much lower prices.

I had a delightful stay at yerba buena hostile. The cabins were really nice and the food was good. There are stores less than 200 ft away where you can pick up beer and snacks, so you can get away while still having amenities close by. The Relax Inn is a very nice place to visit. I look forward to coming back soon.
