Sierra Morena Eco Hotel

The sows being fed early in the morning made us laugh. We could hear them from a distance for about ten minutes. This was our second stay at Sierra Morena Eco Hotel, and it's a super nice spot for a proper rest. The staff are wonderful, and the rooms have comfortable beds with cleanliness clearly a priority throughout. Filandia is five minutes away by car and has wonderful restaurants and nice shopping.

We should have stayed longer. The view from the rooms is even more spectacular than the photos, and the jacuzzi and fireplace room are great additions. The beds are great, breakfast is delicious, and the service is excellent.

Lovely scenery and a beautiful place to stay, very close to town. There's a supermarket around the corner, and the staff were really nice. The shower was hot, and the queen-size bed was amazingly comfortable. Just be aware of the bumps in the road if you're driving a low vehicle.

The view is incredible, with the sounds around you reminding you that you're at a finca in Colombia. It was so relaxing, and the loudest noise was the cows on the hill next door, though there's another very loud sound I'll leave as a surprise. The place is laid-back, with no hassle, and the staff were warm, kind, and smiling. At night the cows may be in front of the parking area, and if you're lucky, the neighbor will feed them in the morning so you can watch. This is a finca hotel with lovely people and an amazing view. Try the “perico” eggs, they're super tasty.
