My girlfriend checked by phone the night before and was told arriving ahead of me would be fine. But when she got there, the two women at reception refused to let her in or even use the bathroom. Then I arrived with an upset stomach and asked to use the bathroom, and they made me finish the paperwork first. Their attitude was awful throughout. The Google add-on also says parking is free, but it isn't. This was my worst hotel experience. Nieves hotel nearby was welcoming and friendly.

The midweek, low-season price was just $24, one of the best hotel deals I've found. The staff were helpful and friendly, and the place is a stylish modern copy of a colonial building.

The breakfast was excellent, and the staff were both friendly and helpful. It's affordable and thoughtfully designed, too.

For 20k COP more, you can stay somewhere better at Ramada San Juan de Giron. This place felt expensive for the quality.
