The architecture is nice, but the service could be better. I had a strange experience at the coffee shop: I asked for an espresso, and none of the staff seemed to know what that was, even though an espresso machine was right there.

Right across from Old Giron’s main plaza, it’s a spacious hotel in a colonial-style building. The rooms have air conditioning, hot water, and Wi-Fi, though the bathrooms are small. There’s a restaurant on site, but breakfast isn’t included.

I loved the atmosphere of staying in this colonial area, with the church bells ringing every hour. The hotel is in a beautiful building, and breakfast was adequate. I’d recommend it to anyone who enjoys a peaceful setting like this.

The balcony and comfortable rooms were a plus, and the view of the main park from the hotel is spectacular. It’s a very old, typical Giron house that gives a striking sense of how homes looked around 300 years ago. There’s lots of space, fresh air, a lovely green garden, high ceilings, and beautiful lamps and decor that give the hotel a special touch. The bathroom has the essentials, but there’s no hot water. Breakfast isn’t included, which isn’t great these days.
