I haven’t stayed here, but I stopped by while trying to find a tour. Everyone was so kind and helped me track down a guide, even making calls for me. They offered me coffee while we sorted it out. The place looked lovely and very clean, with the river right beside it. They really do their best to help. Thanks again!

The staff were really friendly, and it’s easy to get to several nearby places of interest. We stayed in a wooden cabin with some fun little features, and there were cats, dogs, and poultry wandering around freely. A mosquito net was provided over the bed, though the mosquitoes seemed to be down by the restaurant, around the neon lights. Food is basic, chicken or pork with chips, and if you don’t speak Spanish things may get a little difficult. Indigenous tribal people walk around with machetes at their waists, presumably for cutting paths through the jungle. They looked a bit shifty to me, but saying Buenos Dias seemed to break the ice. It was a fantastic experience.

Animals wander around as they would on a working farm, and the place has a real back-to-nature feel. It’s very quiet and peaceful. The accommodation is quirky but clean and comfortable. They can make you something to eat if you need it, or there are places in the nearby town. And I love Simba, one of the dogs!

Nature all around, and a lovely, peaceful place to stay. I spent one night here and found it beautiful, very clean, and perfect for the price. It was one of the cleanest hostels I’ve stayed in. A towel, soap, and breakfast were included, and the food was delicious.

We felt so welcome by the whole family running the hostel. They’re kind, generous, and hospitable, and this stay in the Colombian Jungle left a piece of our hearts there.
