I stayed in a cabin with my family, three adults in all, as part of a holiday arranged through an agency. The beds were very comfortable and warm. Hugo was welcoming, helpful, and happy to chat with me despite my basic Spanish. He also handled our different dietary needs by making carbonara pasta and veggie pasta. The shower never got very hot, even on low power, but we had a really enjoyable stay and would recommend it.

The cabanas have a lovely view over the green hills, and our triple room was cozy, with very comfortable, warm beds and a wood-burning stove we used overnight. I was there with two friends, and Don Hugo and Dona Gloria were excellent hosts. It’s a hidden gem, about a 10-minute walk from the Termales Guascas and a 10-minute taxi ride from the town center. I’ll definitely return.

El Refugio del Santo was a peaceful, lovely place to stay, and my mom and I would gladly come back and recommend it. The location works really well for visiting town and the hot springs, and breakfast was delicious. The cabins were spotless and well cared for. From the moment we arrived, the owners treated us with so much warmth and attention that it felt like being at home.

I spent a wonderful weekend at the cabins at Refugio del Santo. The cabins are cozy and comfortable, just right for relaxing in nature, and the staff were attentive and friendly throughout. The food, service, and view were all excellent. I’d definitely recommend it for a peaceful getaway, and I’ll be back soon.
