The lake setting is pretty, but getting to the rock takes a 30-minute walk, and you end up needing jeeps for getting around. Guatapé might be a better place to stay. The staff and breakfast were fine. We had two rooms and didn't get a warm shower in either one for two days. Nights were noisy because of a restaurant across the lake.

Good value for money and a lovely lake view from a great location. The room was quite cold because the door had a problem and wouldn't close properly. Staff playing loud music at 6 am was pretty rude.

You’re right at the foot of peñol, so this is the closest hotel to the rock. It’s beside the lake, and they have free kayaks. You do need to take a mototaxi to reach the entrance.

Casa Linda Hotel made for a really relaxing stay. Everything was clean and comfortable, and the staff were attentive and helpful throughout. The setting around Guatapé was beautiful and handy for enjoying the area. I’d happily recommend it for a peaceful visit.
