We're traveling around Colombia for quite a while, and this has been one of the best hotels so far. It's fairly basic, but the rooms are clean and lovely, with little balconies for fresh air. The central location and helpful, friendly service are big pluses. It's also a great place if you need to do laundry. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner are available at a nearby restaurant, where hotel guests get special prices. We're very happy with our stay and can highly recommend it. Muchisimas gracias al hotel!

We stayed one night and had an excellent experience. The room was clean, with a beautiful balcony overlooking the main street. The staff were very friendly, and we enjoyed the delicious rooftop restaurant. Would recommend.

Great location, and that's about it. The rooms are clean, but even the litter is something you have to pick up yourself. We had ants in our room (#1). Breakfast is odd because they bring it from a restaurant, and there are only two choices, eggs or pancake.

A must-see spot right on Guatape's main street. The rooftop bar upstairs is excellent, with a few quirks that might just be part of its local charm. I'd definitely recommend stopping by.

We turned up for the larger balcony room we had booked two days earlier, but the receptionist offered us a small room with no balcony or windows instead. Staff said the listing had been shown incorrectly and blamed Booking, though the hotel is responsible for its booking page too. We were expected to take the smaller room for the same price, so we canceled. I suspect confirming balcony rooms and downgrading guests when full may be a pattern here. Don't assume the room will match your reservation.
