They had to cancel my reservation at the last minute because of a water issue outside the hotel’s control. I was understandably frustrated at first, but after talking with the manager and hearing the explanation, I calmed down. What mattered was the manager’s willingness to find a solution. Excellent service. I hope to visit again soon.

The place is spectacular, with amazing views and a wonderful jacuzzi, which makes the poor service all the more disappointing. It’s far from Guatape, and motorcycle taxis are the only transport there. They charge 30,000 pesos each way. Communication was practically nonexistent. I was trying to find out if I could leave my things there because I’d arrive at 6 a.m. They didn’t answer calls and took a long time to reply. Terrible service.

Our cabin was comfortable, and the location was convenient. The kitchen was very well equipped, and both the breakfast and service were delicious. There was also a fireplace and grill that worked perfectly for getting together with friends. Just note that our cabin didn’t have a TV.

We were pleased with the service, but I was still quite disappointed and wouldn’t personally return. The bathroom looked dirty, there was no hot water, and the place didn’t even have basic barbecue equipment or a sink for washing dishes. Getting our luggage up a steep path when we arrived was another hassle.
