The Brown, Guatape, Autograph Collection

Juan DE DIOS seemed to be everywhere, always checking that we were taken care of, day and night. He made our anniversary trip memorable, and I'd love to commend him for being such a great young man. It was our second visit, and they managed to top the first: they let us check in early and upgraded our room to a suite with a Jacuzzi and a beautiful view. The food was out of this world. The best hotel in GUATAPE, hands down! Gracias amigo!

The views were stunning, and the location was great. All the staff were exceptional, especially Angela and Diego at Pismo restaurant. They were friendly, attentive, and really went the extra mile. The gym could use some upkeep, since there were spiderwebs on the equipment, but we still had an amazing stay.

The pool area was lovely, with a wonderful view, and the food and alcohol selection were great. Staff were friendly and keen to help, and some spoke English. The shower temperature fluctuated a bit, though the rest of the room was good. Check-in took unnecessarily long and could have been better prepared. They photocopied my credit card instead of reserving an amount, as other places do. There was no activity information in the room and no English TV channels. The stay was good overall, but pricey for what we got.

This is our fourth stay, and the experience has been consistently excellent. The food is always delicious, the rooms are beautiful, and the service stands out. A special thank you to ANGELA, DIEGO, MATEO Y TONI, who are always kind and attentive and make us feel welcome each time. The hotel is beautifully designed and organized, with excellent restaurants, amazing pools and hot tubs/jacuzzis, spectacular views from every angle, and relaxing lounge areas. We also love the private dock, where booking boat tours, jet skis, and other water activities is easy. Transportation is well organized, and we always feel safe and well cared for. We love The Brown, Guatapé – Autograph Collection, and can't wait to return.
