The listing left out important details. The rear balcony is shared and has no privacy, and the place's pet-friendly label did not match what we encountered. There was an aggressive, territorial dog living there, which made the common areas inaccessible. We were told to stay in our room to avoid a conflict, and to carry our own dog in our arms and check out with staff every time we left the room. The staff member on site was hostile and unprofessional, and in my view dishonest. She tried to charge us a 100% cancellation fee for the first night. Booking.com representatives quickly told us the actual policy was 50%. We chose to forfeit that half and leave straight away rather than stay in what felt like a toxic environment.

Maria was loving and attentive, while still respecting our privacy and sharing her space so generously. Our room was spacious and lovely, with a clean, private bathroom and a cute deck facing the mountains to the north. Falling asleep to the running river was delightful. The plaza, with its bars and restaurants, is just a three-minute walk away. There are lots of hikes and other things to do nearby. What an amazing spot in this incredible country!

There's a great view of the natural surroundings, and the place is right by the road for the walk to the 8 waterfalls. A guide is available if you need one, and it has all the things you'd need at home. Very good spot to stay in Jardin.

María Victoria was delightful, made us a delicious breakfast, and helped us arrange a tour and explore Jardín. We had a wonderful time and plan to return. Casa Amarillo was peaceful and quiet, with a lovely balcony view. Our room was comfortable, and the bathroom was new and clean.

The balcony view is breathtaking, and the whole house is well equipped. Maria was a wonderful host and always attentive to what we needed. A great place to unwind and explore Jardin, wholeheartedly recommended.
