I felt calm and genuinely welcome from the start, and the place made it easy to relax and disconnect. It’s quiet, family-friendly, and I felt safe throughout my stay, whether traveling alone, as a couple, or with family. The property is beautifully kept, with greenery, quiet paths, timeless architecture, a peaceful pool area, charming rooms, and inviting shared spaces. For me, Hotel Chalet El Castillo by Majuva felt like a sanctuary. The people made that feeling even stronger. The staff were kind, attentive, and wonderfully human. Marien, Don Jairo, Yiceth, Don Jorge, and Norvelys, thank you for making me feel respected and at home. Every interaction felt thoughtful and sincere. Valentina is the soul of Hotel Chalet El Castillo. Her kindness and compassion are unmistakable, and her care for guests goes far beyond hospitality. She leads with heart, passion, and authenticity, and you can feel it in the details. She truly wants everyone to feel safe, peaceful, and cared for. Valentina, thank you for creating such a beautiful place and for being such a beautiful person. People like you are rare, and you make this place feel special. The fresh, comforting food tasted lovingly prepared, and every meal added to the sense of peace and nourishment. There’s also some of the best coffee in Colombia, freshly grown on their own coffee farm. It’s rich, smooth, and a lovely hidden gem. Before arriving, seeing the MAJUVA name gave me confidence in my choice. I already knew Hotel La Sofía, operated by the same company, and that consistency and quality showed here too. This stay will stay with me for a long time. I can’t recommend the hotel enough, and I truly look forward to returning.

The people at Hotel Chalet El Castillo made our stay feel personal from the start. Alejandra, Marien, and Jairo were warm, attentive, and ready to help with anything, including sorting out food when we wanted to order in and checking that we had everything we needed. The peaceful, charming setting added to that feeling of being welcomed into someone’s home. We left grateful for all their kindness. A lovely place for comfort and genuine Colombian hospitality.

Valentina, the owner and manager, was incredibly caring when I told her the dogs barking at night were bothering me. There’s a nearby “dog hotel” and training park, so the family room near the street may not suit light sleepers or anyone bothered by dogs. The rest was fantastic: the hotel is beautiful, and breakfast had great options. Valentina might be the nicest person on earth.

The garden and quiet neighborhood made this elegant house feel wonderfully restful, with birds chirping through the day. The team made me feel like family, especially when I celebrated my birthday there. Don Jairo, Señora Marien, Alejandra, Valentina, and everyone else, thank you for such a warm stay at El Castillo. Breakfast was delicious each morning, and the staff were some of the friendliest we met in Colombia. There’s a large pool, prompt laundry service, and a music and games room. The team also helped with information on tours around the coffee valley and transport. A supermarket, pharmacy, and a few nice restaurants are about a seven-minute walk away. One of the best places we stayed on our travels, especially for comfort, relaxation, and personal hospitality.

The breakfast was delicious, and the staff gave us really useful tips about the area. They went out of their way to make the whole family feel comfortable. I’d definitely recommend it.
