Hotel Mi Monaco

We really enjoyed the bonfire in the evening, a lovely extra. The pool and hot tub were excellent, and the staff were very friendly. Rooms were clean and spacious, with comfortable beds. A fantastic base for exploring the coffee district and Armenia.

We came with a big group in Jan 2025 and found the property clean and well cared for. The staff were excellent, and the food was pretty good. There's one restaurant on site. The rooms are quiet, surrounded by nature, and the hotel is about a 25 min drive from Armenia airport. I'd recommend it if you're visiting Armenia.

We were a bit apprehensive before arriving at Mi Monaco, since places don't always look like their ads, but it turned out to be even more than we expected. Santiago, Karen, Marleny, Luz Amparo, Claudia, and José are all so sweet, and José seems to be everywhere. The old world finca cafetera is beautiful, and breakfast was great. You do need to order lunch and dinner if you want them, which was no problem for us. We came to see coffee plantations and the growing region, but our favorite day was the one we spent doing nothing at Mi Monaco. We lounged in a hammock, wandered around the property, and had wine in the outdoor dining area. The people are what really make the place special. One suggestion: since Santiago, the grandson, now manages this former coffee plantation, photos of the original family and what the property looked like years ago would be lovely to see, if they exist. I could live here. We'll be back next year!

We had a fantastic time with our group of 12. The staff were really accommodating, and the food and pool were incredible. My brothers and I got to play basketball, volleyball, ping pong, and pool. The area was stunning and everyone was so helpful. Only small drawback, the beds were a little hard.
