Casa Lassio Hostal

The hostal was clean and in a good location, but we found bedbugs in our room, the first one on the left in the lobby. We each woke up with thirty bites after one night. The owner accused us of bringing them, though we hadn't been bitten before, and wouldn't refund us for that night. They fumigated the room, but I'm not sure it will be enough, and she didn't seem concerned about that. Buena localizacion y chinches de cama en nuestra habitacion.

Breakfast was good, served from 7 to 9 am, and we didn't have to make it ourselves. The staff were really friendly, and the rooms were clean and comfortable. It's a nice place, but with a room that doesn't have its own bathroom, there's just one bathroom shared by all those rooms, so the line for a shower can get tedious.

The furniture was very nice, and the hotel itself has a lot going for it, though a few things could be better. The mattresses and pillows were pretty average, which feels like a key thing for a hotel. The included breakfast was very unpleasant. The person handling overnight reservations was VERY SERIOUS and NOT SO HUMANE, but I met two very friendly ladies the next morning. I'd rate it 3 out of 5. Thanks, best wishes, and continued growth.

Lassio has more than one bathroom, which is a real plus. It's a house set up to host guests, and shared bathrooms are normal for a hostel. I loved the place: it was very clean and the staff were excellent. If I come back to Manizales, I'll stay here again. Thanks!
