The bedsheets aren't cotton, which made them sweaty and uncomfortable, and there's no air conditioning, just a noisy fan. The room itself was clean, and the shower and Wi-Fi were good. But the street-facing rooms are really loud. Inside rooms are noisy too because there's no soundproofing, and with no window they feel like a cell. The stair alarm starts early and goes off late, so you won't need an alarm clock, and the doorbell keeps ringing until at least midnight. There's also a notice on the door listing fines for marking the linens. At checkout, they expect you to wait at reception while they inspect the room and minibar.

I've stayed at plenty of hotels, and this Manizales one is among the best. It's clean and welcoming, with housekeeping every day and staff who communicate well. The internet consistently ran at 45-60 Mbps, and they provide coffee and water. I liked the quiet atmosphere, and Estrella and Elsa were especially kind and courteous.

Spotlessly clean, with great staff and a spot right in the city center. Restaurants and shops are all around, and now that I live here, I'll use it for my family.
