Aromax Del Campestre

The location is great for restaurants, bars, and shops around Zona Rosa, and a taxi ride is only $1. I really liked being able to unwind in the garden, Jacuzzi, or sauna. The price feels just right for what you get. It’s an older building, though, and you can sometimes hear people coming in, so bring earplugs.

My room was the coconut one, and the different Colombian scents used in each room to attract the right energy made the stay feel like a new experience. I was there for three nights, the service was amazing, and I’d definitely recommend Aromax hotel.

After a day exploring Medellin, I loved coming back to the eucalyptus room and its scent. The rooms are innovative, and the whole place feels welcoming enough to feel at home. The staff are really friendly and do what they can to make your stay pleasant. For me, Hotel Aromax is the best place to stay when visiting this beautiful city.

The other staff members were great and helpful, which made the manager’s behavior even more of a shame. He was on his phone through most of our three days there. When we arrived, he didn’t help with our luggage or introduce himself, and we still never learned his name. He works during the day and has a low cut hairstyle. We were given the back room called frese. Men working outside could look in through its low window while I was getting dressed, so I kept the blinds partly open because the room was so dark. I asked to move, and that was the one time the manager was helpful. Checkout was worse. He kept accusing us of taking a drink from the minibar, and although our Spanish wasn’t great, he didn’t try to help us understand. His manner was awful. I wouldn’t stay again.
