Casa Santafe - Coliving Hotel

Jose is an unbelievably good manager. He’s kind, helpful, respectful, patient, resourceful, all of it. Casa santefe is well placed in Laureles, within walking distance of cafes, restaurants, shops, and grocery stores, so you have what you need close by. It’s more like a hotel with a coworking space than a coliving place, but it’s good for what it offers and costs.

Really incredible people and facilities across the board, and everything works. The neighborhood and location are perfect. It’s super comfortable, with a good balance of community and privacy. Everyone was accommodating, enthusiastic, compassionate, patient, and diligent, and I found the place completely honest and safe. Highest rating from me. I recommend it 100%!!!!!

The front desk is staffed 24/7, and the team were friendly and helpful. When my phone wouldn’t charge on the first night, one of them helped me troubleshoot and suggested places to get it checked. I started in a basic standard room, but it was too small for me to open my suitcase and had no AC. The suites weren’t available at first, but the team let me know when one opened up. I upgraded, and it was worth the extra cost: lots of room, a comfortable bed, AC, a fridge, and a small kitchen. Filtered water and coffee for guests were nice extras. I’d certainly recommend it and stay again.

The hot shower was great and the location was good, and the staff were extremely friendly, but I was truly miserable during my stay. We booked the standard room. The photos show windows facing outside, but most rooms seem to have windows onto the interior hallway, so opening one means giving up all privacy. There was no AC either. Maybe you have to call to arrange an outside-facing window, but if you can’t open yours, there should at least be air conditioning. The bed was extremely uncomfortable, with springs visible in the wavy lines in the photo I added. As a VIP hotels.com member, we were offered a “spa service,” which was the sauna. I hoped it might redeem the stay, but it was basically a cool steam room with extremely hot water bubbling out of a corner, and my partner burned his feet on it. Unless you only want to hang out in the common areas, I’d stay somewhere else. For our second night, we found a place a few blocks away with a kitchenette in the unit, AC, and an outside-facing window. I don’t usually share bad experiences, but I was disappointed after reading so many good reviews. If I’d known about the hallway windows, I wouldn’t have booked it.
