The new hotel they moved us to was beside a park where a loud party went on all night, so I couldn’t sleep. We were also first given a room meant for three with just one full-size bed, then had to queue downstairs again to get one with two beds. On the day we arrived, I got a message saying the hotel couldn’t accommodate us. Apparently, they hadn’t filed the paperwork needed to operate, so they chose to move us to another one of their properties. In more than 30 years of traveling around the world, I’ve never had this happen. I’d sincerely stay away from this property co. They seem extremely disorganized and/or incompetent.

The attached restaurant and rooftop give the hotel a nice atmosphere, and the location is handy for Poblado. But the rooms are tiny, and you can hear everything happening in adjoining rooms, good or bad lol. They left hotel-branded water bottles outside the minibar, which made them seem complimentary, so I found it a little tacky that they charged for them.

Camilo at the front desk made the stay feel personal. He was friendly and attentive, gave me useful local recommendations, answered my questions, and kept checking that all was well. Room service was prompt, reliable, and well prepared every day. My room on the 7th floor was quiet, with very little street noise despite Medellín being such a lively city. It was on the small side, but the layout was thoughtful and had everything I needed. The bed was comfortable, I slept well each night, and the spacious shower had good pressure and steady temperature. Hashtag98 Hotel felt clean, modern, and cozy from the moment I arrived. The room was a pleasant place to unwind after exploring. My stay was smooth and comfortable, and I’d happily recommend it to anyone visiting Medellín. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay again.

The location in the heart of Poblado is good, and the cleaner was very nice. Reception was okay too, and they helped replace our broken hair drier. Rooms are a little small, though modern and equipped for a short stay. Be prepared for noise, especially Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. There’s a rooftop bar with music, plus clubs and bars all around. I found it a bit overpriced for what they offer, so the value was so-so.
