It’s comfortable and welcoming, and easy to find if you have the right directions. Still, there’s no Wi-Fi, the kitchen is short on utensils for cooking and cleaning, and the owner seems reluctant to answer questions about the accommodation or how to get there.

A great spot for stepping away from everyday routines, with a lovely country-style kitchen and a one-of-a-kind view. The price and location are just right, and Waze or Maps make it easy to find. The butler was very attentive, and there’s hot water.

Mr. Francisco is very kind 😊. The room was clean, cozy, and warm, but having the shower outside the room is VERY POORLY DESIGNED FOR THAT CLIMATE. It gets really cold at night, so bring a warm coat. The place is in Guarne near the Pantanillo trail. You can get there via the Medellín-Bogotá highway, with two tolls, or Las Palmas road, which has no tolls.

It’s a lovely place to get away from the city and relax. Too bad it’s a little neglected and could be cleaner.

The forest behind the cabins makes it wonderfully peaceful. It’s a cozy, intimate place to stay with a partner, family, or friends.
