The price felt a bit high for what you get, and there may be better options, though this could still work. The location was good and the hotel was decent, just nothing special if you’re planning to spend much time in your room. Wi-Fi only worked in the lobby. Staff did their jobs without being especially friendly, but they weren’t rude either. Breakfast was much the same. I’d consider it if you mainly need somewhere to sleep near activities.

We landed in Medellin at 9pm and then had to scramble to find somewhere to stay, even though I had confirmed this booking twice. A week before the trip I messaged the hotel on Whatsapp, got no reply, then called through Whatsapp and spoke with a man at the front desk. He confirmed the booking, named the room type we’d reserved, and said there wouldn’t be a problem. On the day we arrived, Agoda asked me to confirm again. I replied right away that we’d be there at 10pm. Hours later, after our flight had landed, the hotel messaged to say I hadn’t confirmed and the reservation had been “automatically cancelled.” I called immediately and explained what had happened. They kept saying they’d tried a number on the booking, apparently one supplied by a third-party agency they use, and couldn’t reach me. I sent proof of my Agoda and Whatsapp confirmations, plus a photo showing I’d spoken to someone at the hotel a week earlier. They still said the booking was cancelled and there were no rooms left, while Agoda continued to show it as confirmed. This was completely unacceptable and felt like a scam. Don’t count on staying here, even if you confirm twice.

The rooms could use an upgrade, but they were manageable. The location is one of the best parts, and the front desk lady was amazing. I’m coming back because of her.

The staff were friendly and breakfast was good, but the room was in rough shape. Most of the lights didn’t work, the walls were thin, the bed was hard, and the shower’s hot water came and went. They also charge extra if you pay by credit card. The front door was sometimes locked with nobody at the desk. I nearly missed my bus because I had to wait 10 minutes for someone to come back and let me out. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel.
